Kathryn Friend BSc. MBA has been working with antibodies for over 25 years. Following her degree, she started her career selling Caltag antibodies in the UK before moving back to Australia to join BD as the reagent representative for NSW. She was head-hunted to join Australian Biosearch to work with Biolegend, and grew the market with them for 10 years before joining Biolegend directly as their National Sales and Marketing manager. During COVID she joined Phitonex as Global Sales and Marketing Manager to increase awareness of the Novafluor range of products, and after its sale to Thermo Fisher she pivoted to offer high-dimensional panel design assistance and advice. Kathryn developed a keen interest in emerging technologies and as such, she has formed her own company, Chameleon Science, representing many of these in the APAC region. Kathryn has recently joined FluoroFinder as an APAC representative to increase awareness and adoption of this platform in this region.
